
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Austin Scholarship
Those considered eligible for the scholarship shall be full time, regularly
enrolled 4th or 5th yr. students maintaining a GPA of 3.2 or better, a
demonstrated financial need and majoring in Construction Management and
Business. A successful candidate must display an entrepreneurial ambition to
establish themselves in the construction industry. Two scholarship
recipients per year shall be determined by the School of Architecture
Scholarship Committee. This scholarship can be renewed if the student
maintains a GPA of 3.2 or better and continues
to meet the other criteria.
Beavers
Heavy Const. Scholarship
This award is designated to provide financial assistance to deserving
students with an interest
in a career in the heavy construction industry.
The parties herin named agree to the following stipulations:
• The recipient must be a United States citizen.
• The recipient must be an upperclassman majoring in construction
engineering studies directly applicable to the heavy construction industry.
• The recipient should have a professional goal of achieving a career in the
heavy construction industry as established by one or more of the following:
1. Stated intention of pursuing such a career.
2. By part-time or summer employment in the heavy construction industry.
3. Enrollment in related curriculum.
4. A written paper outlining the recipient’s reasons for choosing a career
in the heavy construction industry.
5. The recipient must be a full-time student of the University with
demonstrated financial need.
Construction Management
Scholarship
• Recipient shall be a full-time, regularly enrolled student majoring in the
Construction Management Program at Washington State University
• Financial need, academic achievement, and/or professional involvement may
be considered singularly or together as selection criteria.
Fisher, Larry & Joyce
Scholarship
Scholarships shall be awarded to:
1. first to a third or fourth year woman student with a double major in
Construction Management and Business Administration;
2. if no students who meet the criteria in (1) above are available, then to
a third or fourth year woman student majoring in Construction Management
Jacobsen, Jack B. Endowed Scholarship
Poe, A. Donald Scholarship
Scholarships will be awarded to one or more students in the Construction
Management program of the School of Architecture and Construction
Management. The faculty of the Construction Management program shall
determine the scholarship requirements.
Satterthwaite, J & C
Scholarship
The proceeds from this endowment fund shall be used to provide annual
scholarship support to a fourth or fifth year student in the Construction
Management program in the School of Architecture
Construction Management Student
Excellence
UUsed for ASCM competitions, AGC Student Chapter Conf., AGC Natn’l.
Convention, Natn’l. Assoc. of Home Builders regional activities & meetings,
field trips, study abroad programs.
Construction Management & Architecture Scholarships/b>
Chase, Raymond S. Scholarship
The proceeds from this endowment fund shall be used to provide annual
scholarship support to an undergraduate or graduate student in the School of
Architecture. Criteria used by the School’s Scholarship Committee to award
scholarships to students will be the criteria used to award the Chase
scholarships.
Columbia Paint Co.
Scholarship
This scholarship is to be awarded to a senior entering his/her final year of
study.
Scott, David &
Louise Scholarship
The proceeds form the endowment fund are to be used to provide scholarship
support to qualified students in the School of Architecture who demonstrate
financial need, academic promise, and commitment to excellence in
architecture or construction management.
Smith, S. & Pond,
E. Scholarship
Those considered eligible for scholarships/awards shall be full time
regularly enrolled students majoring in architecture or construction
management. The scholarships/awards may take the form of objects of art,
books, tuition, fees or travel grants.
