Welcome!!
I am a Professor in the School of Architecture at Washington State University, Pullman, Washington. To find out more about me, click the "Professor" link in the list on the left. I teach architectural structures to students in our Architecture and in our Construction Management programs. This is a sequence of seven semester-long courses. My research interests are in the areas of forensic engineering, the investigation of failures of constructed works. I am also interested in all forms of structural engineering involving all construction materials, and in the subject of professional ethics. Click on the "Research" link for more information. I have written a number of professional and technical journal articles related to my research interests, and several books. I also serve as the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Performance of Constructed Facilities, published by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
